EXECUTIVE MEETING OF IAPT HELD AT IPS
Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) is a national body of Physics Teachers of school, college and universities of India. It is the most active organization. It organizes the National level examination (NSEP) for 12th appearing students in different science subjects through which stuents are selected in national and international olampiods. It also conducts NGPE examination for Graduate level students. Nearly 125000 students appear in NGPE from all over the country. The association has one regional council in each state. The program is chalked out in a meeting of EC members from each regional council. This EC meeting has representation from all over India.
This year the EC meeting is held by RC 9 M.P. region at Physics department of IPS Academy Indore on 22nd and 23rd April 2017. This meeting was conducted by Prof. B. Chakrabarti, General Secretary IAPT and president by Prof. H.C. Pradhan, President of IAPT. About 50 delegates from all over the India participated and discussed various issues in today’s Executive Council meeting.
Dr. P.K. Dubey, Secretary, RC 9 has presented report of M.P. region and Dr. J. Tripathi, Head, department of physics, IPS Academy, Indore has organized the event in Indore.
